When Scarlet came to visit her father, she was not surprised to see the workplace deserted. She carefully stepped between the bubbling concoctions, but could not help and fiddle a bit with the astromancer. It was always out of alignment, and of dubious use to anyone but the brightest mages. The fresh sea breeze was gently flipping through the pages of research strewn around. On the messy desk, however, one yellowed piece caught her attention. It had only one sentence written on it, hard pressed and written in haste:
“Scarlet, You must find me.”
So begins the journey of Scarlet, a young woman looking for her father in a dark fantastical world, filled with magic and wonder. The ancient magical wars have left a scar of corruption on the land, and have made the magical powers of humans unreliable and erratic.
